Minneapolis and St. Paul Traditional Landscaping Design Services
Lakes Landscape Services provides traditional CAD (computer aided design) and 2-D hand drawn designs for all of our clients. There are several steps in this process:
- Initial Consultation – The first meeting to discuss your goals and overall ideas about your exterior space(s). This usually takes place at the property so we can make measurements and get a visual feel for your surroundings.
- Custom Plan – The second meeting where all of the specific custom features are discussed and agreed upon. Specific native plant species are selected and agreed upon at at this stage.
- Full Scale Design – Third meeting where detailed drawings and plans are put together and shown to the client. The client then approves or makes as many revisions as necessary to be satisfied with the design before actual work begins.
Once the design has been agreed upon, work will begin shortly thereafter. This is not a definitive process, as there could be several revisions, and several designs drawn up before the client is satisfied. Also, our full scale design process can include a combination of CAD (computer aided design), video imaging as well as hand drawn plans.
We Take Our Time, We Get It Right
We always take our time with our clients and listen to what they want to achieve with their landscaping. We don’t use a high pressure sales approach. We use a personal approach to our design and make sure we give the client exactly what they want. This approach to our design has allowed us to develop long term relationships with the majority of our clients.
